On November 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., a unique reopening of the exhibition "The History of Wine" took place in the Small Carpathian Museum in Pezinok. Exactly five years after the opening of the first exhibition of the Little Carpathian Museum, museum director Martin Hrubala and his team of colleagues presented a new, modern and experience-oriented permanent exhibition entitled The History of Wine. The main theme is the history of viticulture and viticulture in this most important wine-growing area. The exhibition offers visitors an interactive form that uses all the senses - seeing, smelling or touching. The use of modern technologies and applications is intended to give the public a more contemporary and attractive insight into the regional history of the Little Carpathians. New modern furniture, intelligent light that reacts to movement, picturesque design of the walls of Pezinok, interactive center panel with regional personalities and activities, information points and games for children, search for archaeological finds, experiment with cherries, hazard simulator, guessing wine smells, bottle caps or one General tablet quiz at the end of the tour are just a few of the upcoming innovations. The tour ends with a glass of local wine, which is included in the ticket price. Thanks to audio guides in seven languages, it is also open to foreign tourists. Visually impaired visitors are also welcome via texts in Braille or video animations in sign language. The exhibition will be one of the most modern of its kind in the Czech Republic
